Sacred Heart Parish

The Diocese of Allentown has learned of an allegation of sexual misconduct with a minor against Msgr. Francis Nave, who was the Pastor of Sacred Heart Parish. Under our Zero Tolerance Policy, we immediately notified the Northampton County District Attorney’s office, and Msgr. Nave was removed from ministry immediately, pending the results of the investigation. We continue to cooperate with law enforcement on this matter.

This is a time of hurt for the entire parish community. Please continue to keep in your prayers all those affected by this situation, as well as their families. In the interim, Msgr. Stephen J. Radocha has been appointed administrator, and Rev. Kevin J. Bobbin will be saying Masses and caring for the spiritual needs of the parish.
